My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. Apply to adopt by filling out the online adoption application on our main website dakotadachshundrescue.org Click on Adoption Info under the Navigation bar on the left side of the page. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it. Rocky could be an only dog or have friends, he loves having another dog his size to chum around with. He is happy no matter what! His recall is barely ok so Rocky does require a secure fenced yard.He is a very happy active dog for his age, he would not be a good dog to have with young children due to him not necessarily understanding his size. No cats/small animals as he has shown some aggression when testing him around cats and other small animals. He does well with other dogs  My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter, dental and microchipping.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 16, 2025, 1:30 pm
