My story

Find me at PawSafe, 348 Old Colony Rd, Eastford. Millie’s world was never filled with warmth, just quiet loneliness. She and her sister, Tillie, came from a place where love was scarce and care was an afterthought. At just four years old, Millie has spent her life waiting—for kindness, for comfort, for a soft touch that means she’s finally safe. She’s gentle, sweet, and patient, but she keeps her heart guarded until she knows she’s truly home. Like many Great Pyrenees, she watches, she listens, and when she trusts you, she gives her love fully. She doesn’t yet understand leash walks or the joy of a stroll beside someone who loves her. But with the right person, Millie can learn what it means to be cherished. She is dog-friendly and dreams of a soft landing—a quiet place with someone who understands that healing takes time.
