I can't wait to be your new lap cat.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.Jinkx tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. This pretty cat is a good, sweet girl still adjusting to the Care Center after being in a real home shared with many cat friends. Her previous person had awesome things to say about her: Jinkx is quiet, shy around strangers, outgoing with other felines, and a litterbox champion. She liked to hang out in the kitchen, played gently, and enjoyed having her coat brushed. In the cat adoption room, Jinkx has been social with humans, soliciting pettings and leaning in for cheek rubs. But she's also showing some stress from suddenly finding herself in unfamiliar surroundings.
