My story

AVAILABLE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! Hi there! My name is Beau and I'm a 6-month-old, neutered Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix that currently weighs about 32lbs. I'm a growing boy that will be around 60lbs as an adult. My friends here at PHS say I'm everything you would expect from a Malinois puppy; energetic, playful, and eager to learn! I'm hoping for a forever family that is familiar with working breeds like me and is willing to continue my training and take me on adventures. I've entered my 'baby shark' phase, so I prefer to live with adults and teens until I have better manners. I'm very smart and have been known to pick up new skills quickly. Please be sure to bring the entire household, including any resident dogs, to meet with me prior to adding me to the family. I tend to have a rowdy playstyle, and I want to make sure we'll be a big happy family before I go home. For more information about me, just ask Customer Service about Beau! Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
