MAX

My story

This handsome GSD mix is Max! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 5/29, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Max as awesome! He is friendly, calm, and quiet in his kennel. He is also quite intelligent and knows several commands including sit, stay, shake, and other paw. If Max sounds like the new BFF you've been searching for, please come meet him! Max is an adult dog and weighs 88 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Max is waiting patiently in run 59; his ID# is 10420. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
