My story

Meet Bentley Bentley is a 3-year-old large mixed-breed pup, born April 16, 2022. We’ve had him since he was a puppy, and he’s always been full of life and love. He’s playful, friendly, and eager for attention — but also very energetic and strong, which can make him a handful on a leash at times. We had Bentley professionally trained through OffLeashK9 using an e-collar, but he didn’t respond well to that method long-term. Still, he remembers his basic commands and responds when we work with him — he’s a smart dog who wants to engage and please. Unfortunately, Bentley needs more time and attention than we’re able to give him. He thrives with interaction, play, and structure. We’re hoping to find a home where he can get the consistent exercise, affection, and stimulation he deserves. We’re located in southeast Kentucky, about 80 miles from Knoxville. We’re happy to share more info and pictures — including shots from when he was a puppy and photos of his mom and dad. Bentley will do best with an experienced owner or active family who understands large, high-energy dogs. We truly want the best for him and believe the right home is out there.
