My story

Meet Benito. Benito might look like a stoic surfer dude with his all-serious eyes and model face, but don’t be fooled. Underneath that chill exterior is a certified baby who loves to be held. He came to us dirty, underweight, and scared out of his mind after being dumped near a managed colony. But in just a short time, Benito has shown that what he really wants is comfort, cuddles, and a cozy bed to call his own. Now weighing in at a solid 11 pounds (with a little more to gain), Benito is basically a giant fuzzy peach. He’s so soft, with a ridiculously fluffy tail that he loves wacking around. He’ll follow you around the house and flop over dramatically for tummy rubs (which he loves). He’s playful, gentle, and gets along well with other cats. Even when hissed at, he just blinks slowly with his big orange eyes and keeps his chill. His hobbies include lounging on his heating pad, stretching out in sunny spots, and curling up beside you for naps. His paws are huge, like little velvet mittens, perfect for making biscuits or resting softly on your arm. When he’s happy (which is often), he purrs loUdly (like can-hear-it-from-across-the-room loud). Benito is ready to find his person who will give him the safety, softness, and snuggles he’s always deserved. Benito is 4 years old, neutered, vaccinated, flea-treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested FIV/FeLV negative.
