My story
Rouge wandered into our parking lot May of 2025, overheated and matted.We hoped to find her owner, with no avail, so we took this set of striking eyes into our care. Rouge is an absolute LOVER. She prefers affection over treats, and loves to stand up and give hugs to her favorite staff members. She is great with other dogs, is a little picky with some people at first, but seems to warm up pretty quickly.Unfortunately, Rouge came to us Heartworm positive, but she is set to start treatment. If she were to be adopted before or during treatment, Northshore Humane Society would cover the cost of her treatment. All this girl wants is a family to call her own. If you want to be that lucky person, please consider adopting of fostering Rouge!
