My story

Hi, I’m Onyx! About me: I’m a sweet, playful boy with a curious spirit and a gentle heart. I might be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a little time and I’ll be your loyal shadow in no time!I love to play—especially with my littermate and the big, goofy resident dog in my foster home. Tug-of-war, chase, and wrestling matches are my absolute favorites! I also enjoy exploring the yard, sniffing all the interesting smells, and then finding the perfect sunny spot to stretch out and relax.I’m still learning what’s okay to chew and what’s not, but don’t worry—I’m easily redirected with a fun chew toy (or two!). After a good round of zoomies and playtime, I’m all about the cuddles. I’ll happily curl up next to my foster parents, my sibling, or my doggy friend for a cozy nap.If you’re looking for a loving, curious pup who just needs a little patience and a lot of love, I could be your perfect match!Likes: Chew toys, playing in and exploring the yard, laying in the sun, wrestling with my brotherDislikes: None so far!Kennel trained: Kind of.
