My story

There is an adorable video of me on TikTok! Click here to experience the cuteness! My foster wrote: Xena is the sweetest dog I have ever come across. She is waiting for her forever home, where she will give you as much love and loyalty and you'll let her. She is great with all dogs, and even when another dog gets snippy with her, she never shows aggression in return. She even met a horse on my family farm and was trying to play! She just wants to be by your side through every adventure. She loves to roll in freshly cut grass, sprint through the hose during bath time, and destroy her fluffy toys. She's a great companion, and even does well on long car rides (she went on an 8 hour trip with me!). She's gentle with children and babies, and knows "sit" and "off". She is crate trained, but prefers to sleep on the couch or in bed with you if you let her. She's a cuddle bug with a silly and sweet demeanor, and she'd be a perfect addition to a family, or a best friend for a stay at home parent or remote worker. She has been the best addition to my life during the time I've been fostering her, and I am so excited for and jealous of whoever gets to be her forever family! My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: Xena knows sit and paw. She's very gentle when taking treats. Xena loves to play and you can see how happy she gets. She loves to be pet and will roll over and give her belly. Don't let her age at 6 years young fool you, she kept up with me and enjoyed our walk. She's still very puppy like in how she plays with her toys and a little happy dance while walking. She is super smart and knows sit and paw, takes treats so gently too. She was such a delight to walk today and I enjoyed getting to know her and our time together. She loves getting butt scratches and behind her ears, she will definitely shower you with kisses. After a nice walk, we sat on the grass and she sat so patiently and watched people walk by. This princess deserves a forever home. My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: Xena is the sweetest girl. She is sweet, playful, and loving. We took a car ride to Petco and picked out a toy and bully stick! We stayed in the car since it was very cold outside. Xena had so much fun ripping apart the toy and chewing on the bully stick. She enjoyed belly rubs and pets while laying in the car. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 67 Age: 7yrs 1mths 4wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Xena, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
