My story

Our hearts hurt for Preston. He was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 5/31. He does have a micro-chip but sadly his family did not come. Preston is 11 years young and weighs approximately 50 pounds. He knows to sit when asked especially if there are treats involved. He should not be spending his golden years in a shelter. He deserves a family that will love him and give him his own soft bed and blankets. Would you open your heart and home to Preston? Ask for ID# 10510 Run 830. He is neutered and micro-chipped. He has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
