My story

Sandy is a 9-month-old calico with all the personality that comes with it! She’s got a little sass, a little spice, and a whole lot of potential. While she may act a bit reserved at first, she’s just waiting for the right person to give her the love and space she needs to feel truly at home.Like many calicos, Sandy knows what she likes—and she’ll let you know, too! But beneath that independent streak is a curious, clever cat who’s ready to bond once she feels safe and secure.If you appreciate a cat with character and want to help a young kitty come into her own, Sandy is ready to meet you. With patience, love, and a little understanding, she’ll reward you with her trust—and maybe even her heart.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
