Meet River! 🌊 Age: ~8–10 weeks Weight: 4.4 lbs Breed: Small Mixed Breed Estimated Adult Weight: 12–18 lbs Playful, happy, and absolutely adorable—River is a little pup with a big personality! With her scruffy coat, curious eyes, and bouncy energy, she’s a joyful companion in the making. River is the kind of pup who will follow you around the house, make you laugh with her silly antics, and curl up in your lap when it’s time to rest. She’s likely a mix of several small breeds—possibly Terrier, Chihuahua, Shih Tzu, or Miniature Schnauzer—which gives her a fun blend of spunk, sweetness, and smarts. Whether she’s pouncing on toys or climbing into your arms for snuggles, River is a well-balanced, affectionate pup who’s ready to bond with her forever family. At just under 5 lbs, she’s still growing but expected to stay small, making her a great fit for a variety of homes—including those with limited space or lots of love to give! River will be available for adoption soon through Heart of America Humane Society and will come with age-appropriate vaccinations, a microchip, and spayed. 🐾 Looking for a little light in your life?
