What my friends at ACC say about me:I have lived with cats in my previous home.I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!A volunteer writes: I Am Groot doesn't bat an eye when the young party cats hop their paws up on him as he naps. At 3 years old, I Am Groot is not that much older but he's lived with other cats and it shows! Curled up on his little bed at the window in the Free Roaming Room, I think he had intended to people-watch but got distracted and fell asleep with his head tucked under his paws. Uncurling himself just a bit to greet me, I Am Groot softly leaned his cheeks into my hand for some scritches and gently closed his eyes. With his easy going and good natured patience, I Am Groot is sure to fit in anywhere. That is anywhere he can lounge around with friends. I offered I Am Groot a pipe cleaner feather, and with the calm and easy going nature we've come to expect from I Am Groot, he leaned onto his side and kind of gently pawed at it before rolling his cheeks into my hand and going back to his nap.
