Ginger Snap

My story

Ginger is a 7 year old, 70ish lb, female beautiful Labrador desperately needing a foster or forever family. She is sadly being re-homed at no fault of her own, due to a change in her family situation. Our GRRAND volunteer who helped transport Ginger says: "I could tell Ginger is a sweet, fun, cuddly lab from the get go. She rode well in a crate in my car. Once we arrived at the GRRAND kennel, Ginger ran in our field but came back for snuggles and belly rubs. She likes treats and playing with frisbees. According to her former owner, she loves to swim. Ginger is energetic and athletic but is not overwhelming in any way. Ginger Snap is beautiful, sweet, and loving." Her family tells us "Ginger is a loving dog to people and other dogs and she is smart but just needs more attention than we can give her right now. She gets excited to see people and will settle down when given love and attention. She needs more exercise and and direction than she has been given, and is just a dog starved for non-stop people attention and interaction. She needs more play time as well and would love to get that from a family with older kids, as she jumps up on you. But with more people around and constant interaction, she will calm down. Ginger loves frisbee and the pool." Ginger is said to have lived with a cat, but GRRAND has not cat tested her.
