My story

Hello! My name is John but my foster mom calls me “Mr. Adventure”. I am playful, not afraid to blaze a new trial, and a great problem solver. I am also happy to be near you too. When working on learning the “sit command” I am finding patience to wait my turn! I have a great nose to sniff out the missed crumb, peanut butter Kong, or new smells outdoors. Wait until you see the cute white tip on the end of my tail! It is hard to miss as it is usually wagging back and forth all the time. I love to wrestle and play like most puppies my age but also enjoy carrying around soft toys, balls, and just might drag away a small soft blanket. I love playing among the bushes and finding sticks to chew. Keep offering me things to chew on as I do need to be reminded when I should not use my teeth. I have learned to climb up and down the stairs and go potty as soon as I come outside. I play nicely with my older foster dog and understand which one I can play with, and which one to leave alone. I have not met a cat yet but have met the foster rabbit and thought for sure I could go play with it. I seek attention and like to be picked up and would be happy to snuggle up on the coach with you. I am still working on my house training but do a great job letting you know if I am in my crate and need to go out to potty. Listen to my cues after I wake up or eat. Once I have gotten all my wiggles out and gone potty outside, I will settle in my crate on a soft blanket or bed. I may need reassurance initially if I do not have my brother’s still around. I am ready for my next adventure!! Hope to see you soon
