Litter: Yuri, Yasmin, Yoli Currently Living at: Foster in the DC area I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Yara, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. What The Shelter Says About Me: Yara loves cuddles! She arrived at her foster home weighing 7 to 8 ounces and has thrived! She is mischievous - a sign of intelligence. Yara loves playing with her siblings and toys. She purrs when you begin to pet her. Yara's foster had to bottle feed her when she was found and taken to the foster's home - that is probably what makes little sweet Yara an extra loving kitten. If Yara is playing and the foster comes into the room, she will leave her siblings and / or toys and come to cuddle with her foster.  What my Foster Says About Me: Yara is one unique looking girl - and her personality is just as special! With her soft, fluffy black fur and her striking facial markings, she is a little showstopper! She is so friendly to new people, is very social, and loves to play. But she is just as likely to wants pets and purrrrrr away when you're near. :) She also can often be caught forgetting to put her little tongue back in her mouth, so it sticks out very cutely, even if she is in the middle of doing something :) She is the most independent of her sisters but don’t mistake that for not wanting attention because she sure does love it - she will gently paw at you for pets.  ;) She loves to wrestle, and she loves toys. She is a gentle, sweet, and confident kitten who carries herself so well. She has met my cat briefly and did not seem bothered, and she has even met young kids and did so well! She let them play with her and pick her up and was so tolerant. :) Yara is one special girl who is in search of her purrrrfect forever home! Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption.  You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series. Due to this kitten's young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than  09/26/25. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date. A non-refundable spay/neuter deposit will be collected if you would like Lucky Dog to pay for this animal to be spayed/neutered at one of our low-cost partner vets. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together).
