Cookie (Sterling D)

My story

Cookie is a beautiful one year old, 55 pound all American girl! She is a mix of many breeds, including border collie, great Pyrenees and American pitbull. Cookie is incredibly sweet, silly, and playful and loves being around her people more than anything. She loves belly rubs and laying next to you. Cookie would love an active family, as she loves to play and go on walks. She loves the snow in the winter! Her leash manners have come a long way and we’re still helping her improve.  Cookie has been through a lot of training and been taught sit, lay down, leave it!, get down, stay and come. She is still learning to master most of these and needs an experienced dog owner who can be loving and patient with her, as she can be goofy and stubborn. She is treat motivated. Cookie would benefit from additional training to keep her from getting bored. Cookie would do best with her size or larger dogs. Cookie has done great with our 8 and 10 year old daughters. She needs a big, fenced in yard to run around. She is a great dog in need of a great, loving family!
