He walks beautifully on leash, checks in often, and has a soft spot for anyone willing to offer pets (or a comfy lap to lean into). Otterbear is a mellow guy who enjoys the company of other dogs but doesn’t need to be the life of the party. In playgroups, he’ll greet new friends, then happily find a sunny spot to lounge. He’s tolerant, calm, and easygoing—ideal for a home with a well-matched dog or as a solo pup with some canine buddies to visit now and then. On a recent field trip, Otterbear strolled through a neighborhood like a pro. He was curious about squirrels and dogs but never pulled or barked. Even in a busy environment, he stayed cool and collected—well, until it got a little too warm, and then he was ready for some serious bench cuddles.
