HEATH

My story

Heath is the sweetest boy, a huge cuddler, loves exploring, chewing on bones, and playing with the other dogs in the house.  He is very interested in what you are doing at all times and follows you around as much as he can. He has his most energy first thing in the morning (he’s been recharged from a good night’s sleep) but the rest of the day he is napping under my desk, and during my breaks, he will find a spot in the backyard to lay in the sun, run a bit with the other dogs, or find a stick or rock to chew on. He is an amazing cuddle buddy on the couch and will be the best blanket on chilly days.  Heath is a great sleeper in his kennel at night and goes in with no complaints at bedtime. He is very playful with other dogs and loves squeaky toys. Heath needs some work on potty training, but is usually pretty good with going to the bathroom in designated areas (may not always hit the pee pad, but he is working on it). He is smart and mastered the dog door very quickly. He gets along great with all dogs in the house and is gentle while playing, even with the little chihuahua mix fosters. He has not been on a walk and will need to be leash trained. He will be starting to wear a harness to get used to it. He is a wonderful and gentle puppy who will be a great and loyal companion! Heath is still a puppy and unsure of what to chew on. It can be your toes, pants, or anything lying around, and we are working on easily redirecting him by giving him a proper chew toy.  New People: Great Children: Good – a bit shy Food Removal: Good Dogs: Great Cats: Ok – he has sniffed and barks, but no prey drive. Other Pets: Good – doesn’t go after the squirrels or birds in the backyard. Energy Level: Low to Medium Personality: He is a sweet and gentle boy ##2404152##
