My story

Closer is a super cute smaller guy (about 20 lbs) who is finally showing us his puppy personality! It takes him a bit to warm up but now that he is starting to feel safe and comfortable we are seeing how sweet and loving he really is. He absolutely loves to cuddle on the couch with his people and equally loves to run around the yard and play. He has also started to warm up to our resident dog but he does seem to do better with female dogs. We have children of all ages (3-16) and he does great with all of them. He is still working on leash training and is just about house trained as well. He does well in the crate when he feels like it but sometimes, he just is not a fan. He will cry to use the bathroom if he is in the crate which is a great sign! June 10, 2025, 1:49 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt CLOSER, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
