My story

Lorcan is your classic black cat void—nothing but meows, purrs, and pure charm wrapped in sleek, shadowy fur. With eyes like gold coins, he’s the kind of lad who makes sure you know he’s in the room. Whether he’s doing laps around your legs or staring into your soul like he’s reading your secrets, Lorcan brings the full craic with him. He’s bold as brass when it comes to asking for attention and quick to claim the coziest spot in the house like the rightful king he is. Once he’s done making a fuss, he’s all cuddles and purrs—loud enough to rattle your cuppa on the table. He’s the type to flop on your chest and stay there, warm as a turf fire and just as comforting. A proper snugglebug with a bit of sass, Lorcan would happily spend his days curled beside you, soaking up the love and dishing out slow blinks like blessings. He’s the perfect companion for anyone in need of a bit of magic and a whole lot of heart. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
