My story

Meet Custard! He keeps things a little more low-key. He’s a bit timid at first and prefers to hang back while he figures you out- but bring out some tasty treats and you’ll start to see those little walls come down. Slowly but surely, he’s learning that people can be pretty wonderful. Custard came from a mill, so the big wide world is still new and sometimes a little scary. He’ll definitely need another confident, friendly dog in the home to help him feel safe and show him the ropes. A fenced-in yard is a must, as he can be a bit flighty when spooked- but once he feels secure, he’s all about cozy couch snuggles, lazy naps by the fireplace, and just being near his people. With time, love, and a furry friend by his side, Custard is going to blossom into the most loyal and loving companion. He’s ready for his forever home- soft blankets, gentle voices, and all.
