What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them. Not only do I pull at heart strings, but I also pull on leash! I will need someone to help me with my leash manners.A volunteer writes: Lexi ❤️🩹 This little girl arrived in April, transported by police, after her guardian died. Only 2 years old, from what we understand she was very loved in her previous life. Today she's going on 2 months waiting for her next chapter, one that hopefully lasts her lifetime.Lexi was shy when we first met. The alopecia around her eyes only made her cuter and she snuggled into an oversized pink sweatshirt to stay warm. She was curious and social, but understandably reserved. Her life was after all turned right upside down.Today Lexi is settled and feeling more herself. She's playful and pounces as she anticipates you throwing a toy. She loves to play right on your lap, and she's all paws as she slaps her toys around grasping them. She seems to love a game of tug, bringing a stuffie right into my hands requesting I play with her. She leaps her little bod into our laps and she's really just a delightful young girl.Lexi has done well with dogs in the shelter, approaching softly and disengaging when uncomfortable. She's available for adoption and deserves the very best home. Primary Color: Brindle Secondary Color: White Weight: 55.375 Age: 2yrs 2mths 2wks
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lexi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
