With his stunning merle coat and soulful eyes, Pork Chop is as unique on the outside as he is sweet on the inside.Pork Chop is a laid-back dude who’s happiest when he`s lounging close to his humans—preferably on your lap! He’s a total cuddle bug who lives for belly rubs and quality snuggle time. But don’t let his mellow nature fool you—he’s also got a playful side and loves his toys and doggy friends.Whether he`s playing with his pals or just snoozing at your feet, Porkchop brings the perfect mix of fun and calm to any home. He’s a funny, affectionate companion who’s ready to give his heart to someone special.If you`re looking for a loyal, lovable best friend with a gentle spirit and a whole lot of charm, Pork Chop is your guy!Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
