My story

Meet Vega!Vega is a super lovey 7(ish) year old mix breed gal. Vega had a tough beginning to her life, and is now looking for a quiet, loving, stable home to enjoy her golden years. Vega is extremely food motivated, and is fun to work with and train! She knows 'sit', 'paw', and it currently learning 'down', and 'heel'. She is a large breed dog and can sometimes pull on-leash, especially when she sees a squirrel!Due to Vega's unstable history, she has some fear around new people, especially men, and it's best she go to a feminine-centric home. Vega will need slow introductions with adoption applicants! Vega is reactive to some dogs, and is highly prey driven, so a home where she is the only baby (animal or human) is required.Despite her stranger danger, Vega does warm up extremely quickly! She has a pillowy soft, white + black coat, and is endlessly devoted to her friends here at the shelter.Vega has SO much love to give somebody, and she deserves all the love in the world in return.
