My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:3Five-year-old Chocolatte is a gentle 89-pound giant with a quiet, observant nature and a soft heart. He's currently recovering from a medical procedure and taking things slow, but his easygoing temperament and calm presence are already shining through. Low-key and tolerant – Calm on leash, allows petting, and moves at a relaxed pace Independent in dog playgroups – Neutral and respectful around other dogs, prefers to do his own thing Quiet and observant – Enjoys leisurely strolls and watching the world go by No leash reactivity – Easy to leash and walk, even with a cone on Will thrive in a patient home – Needs time to decompress and build confidence post-recovery  June 24, 2025, 9:18 pm
