My story

Bones and Boots, best pals! They transferred to ARL recently from another shelter and now they’re ready to find a new home together (of course!). Bones and Boots are insanely cute and they’re playful and curious, but they are also a little under-socialized as they came from a home with several other cats. They are looking for someone who will be patient with them as they get accustomed to their new world. And they’d also love someone fun! Bones does have a grade IIV heart murmur, which is a significant for a heart murmur so it will require monitoring into the future. Our vet recommends an adopter do a cardio work up around the age of 7 months if he hasn't grown out of it by that time. Kittens sometimes do grow out of heart murmurs on their own. They are looking for a home without any dogs (unless the dog is elderly and will leave the cats alone completely, if that’s what they prefer, as Bones should try to limit the stress (shouldn’t we all!).
