My story

Meet Bolsita Bolsita is a gentle, one-year-old whippet/border collie mix (our best guess!) who weighs just 26 pounds. She may be small, but her heart is absolutely overflowing with love. This sweet soul has already been through so much in her short life. Her name, “Bolsita,” which means “little bag” in Spanish, is part of her story—she was found on the side of the road, mistaken for a bag of trash. Thankfully, Los Adoptables looked a little closer and saw the precious life waiting to be rescued. Since that day, Bolsita has blossomed into the most affectionate and kind-hearted pup. She’s friendly with everyone she meets—both humans and other animals—and yes, she really does smile! She’s learning to play and explore the world with fresh eyes, and she walks well on a leash. While she enjoys her walks and little adventures, she’s also a huge fan of couch snuggles and movie nights. Smart as can be, Bolsita picks up on new tricks quickly and loves making her people proud. She’s resilient, gentle, and oh-so-deserving of a loving forever home. We truly adore her and know that whoever opens their heart to her will gain a loyal, loving companion for life. She’s ready to give all the love she’s been waiting so patiently to share. While we welcome out of state adopters, we do not provide transportation.
