My story

My name is Ginger, and I need to find a special angel to care and love on me, a special needs dog. Despite being partially vision impaired with limited sight and slightly deaf, I navigate the world with courage, inquisitiveness and a tail that never stops wagging. My eyes and ears are not as strong as other dogs but my heart sure is!Look at my gorgeous photos and you’ll see that I am a beautiful, perky, cheerful and attentive 6-year-old, healthy and delightful terrier mix. I’m affectionate with my peeps and I enjoy going on short leash walks. I walk into fences and gates but will smell other dogs coming near me. I want to avoid other dogs and prefer energetic backyard play. Home is my happy place where I can decompress and enjoy the love of the angels living with me.I am a gentle soul with a heart full of love and a smile that lights up the room! I am an affectionate canine companion who thrives on the simple joy of being near my humans. I would do best in a relaxed and loving home. I will need a bit of patience as I adjust to my new surroundings and living with you. I will need to rest and relax at your home after following the shelter routine.
