My story

Meet Dahlia – A Gentle Blossom Ready to Bloom Dahlia and Azalea came to us in early May from an overcrowded shelter. Since then, they’ve been growing and gaining confidence in a loving foster home, where they had the chance to be socialized while waiting for their spay appointments. Now, both girls are ready to find families of their own. These sweet sisters can be a little shy at first. The busy shelter environment can be overwhelming for quieter kittens like them, but they are friendly and open to love. They just need a calm, patient home where they can feel safe, relax and let their true personalities shine through. While Dahlia and Azalea do not need to be adopted together, we do want potential adopters to know they came in together and have shared their early experiences. Each one is ready to thrive in the right environment, with someone who will show them the love and security they’ve been waiting for. Are you ready to help one of these girls blossom into a confident, loving companion? Dahlia and Azalea are waiting! The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com.
