Brief Bio:Kona is sweet young dilute tortie girl. You can’t helpBut swoon over her beautiful coloring. She’s approximately 10 weeks old and has really come out of her shell in her foster home. She can be shy and unsure when she meets new people or hears new sounds. She’s eating Hulls Science Diet dry kitten food and using the litter box like a champ.Summary of Personality:Kona and her siblings were very scared when they first came in but she’s come around in just a few short weeks. She runs to the door to greet you and ask for love. Once she gets comfortable with her surroundings, she’s quite the purring machine and adores getting ear scratches and will even roll over to show you her tummy. She’s the most social of the 3 siblings. She’s energetic and very curious. She’s quite intrigued with “uncle Benny”, the resident 17- pound cat. She loves to chase and bat anything that moves. She also likes engaging with wand toys, and they are a great way to get her interest and increase her confidence. Don’t let her beauty fool you though. She’s the wrestling ring leader and loves to pounce on her 2 siblings. While you can pick her up, it’s not her favorite thing…yet. With time and patience, Ms Kona will like be a love bug that thrives on your attention.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc):Kona has been with her 2 siblings while being fostered. She’s seen (and tried to paw at) the resident cat so I think slow introductions to other pets might be ok. Recommend a home with adults and older children. She may do well with younger children, with slow, calm introductions initially.Include any observations of being house trained (or not):Litter box champ! You’ll want to confine her to a smaller area/room initially to increase her confidence and ensure she knows where the litter box is in her new environment. Is your foster litter box trained?: Yes
