My story

Meet Rico Sauve— a stunning long-haired tabby who was abandoned and left to fend for himself. Despite this rough start, Rico showed incredible resilience and hope, following residents around the property where he was found and asking for pets and affection. His big heart never gave up on finding someone to love him.Rico might have some Maine Coon in his genes, judging by his big paws and impressive size (and he’s not even done growing yet!).He is affectionate, very talkative, and adores being picked up, snuggling in your lap, and following you around for pets. He’s a cuddle monster through and through! Rico comes when you tell him, “Come here,” greets you at the door when you get home, and sometimes plays with your feet when he’s looking for attention — a little rough, but always playful. He’s curious and energetic, often spending his time by the window watching the world go by. He enjoys interactive toys like the ball track and string wand — anything that keeps his big paws busy and his mind engaged.Rico is also comfortable with wearing a leash outside and enjoys catching lizards.Like many intelligent, sensitive cats, Rico communicates clearly when he’s overstimulated — especially about his feet. He doesn’t enjoy rough play, but he adores calm affection and attention on his terms.
