My story

A rose is a symbol of love, joy and affection! Our Rose is no different! This little 2 year old French Bulldog/Boston Terrier Mix is all about love and kisses for her people and other pets in the house.  Sweet Rosie was to be surrendered to a high kill shelter by her owner as she had to move and was not able to bring her along. We immediately took her into Haven Animal Rescue Nebraska to help find the affection and happiness she so craves!  Rose has loved all sizes of dogs that she has meet, is great with children, especially dog appropriate ones, and has been fine with cats. This little nugget will play hard and get the cutest zoomies you've ever seen. She is a absolute joyful little 22 pounds and will bring on the laughter! Of course, then in typical Frenchie fashion she crashes in a snoring filled nap and if a lap is available all the better! This little piglet loves her people, toys, belly rubs, naptime, playtime but most of all FOOD and TREATS!  For a special treat pup cups are the way to her heart!  Rosie is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on leash, is good in a car and knows some commands already. Since she wants to please her people and is treat motivated she is very motivated to learn more commands and tricks.  This little doll is socialized, ready to give and accept love, so now she just needs a forever home to complete her life! All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
