My story

Hello kind human, My name is Conway, and I’m a 9-year-old Beagle mix with a classic tri-color coat and a heart full of wisdom and warmth. I weigh about 43 pounds, and I’ve been told I’m the definition of a gentleman—quiet, polite, and full of grace. I was found lost and brought to the shelter on 06/08/2025. While the world around me can be a little loud, I don’t let the noise bother me—I just curl up for a good nap and wait patiently for someone like you to come along. I already know how to sit and stay, and I carry myself with the kind of calm that only comes with experience. I’ve had all my shots, and although I did test positive for heartworms, I know the right person will help me get through treatment and into a life full of comfort and love. If you’re looking for a loyal, mellow companion who just wants a cozy spot, a few belly rubs, and someone to love for the rest of his days, I’m your guy. Come find me in cage 828—my ID is 10738. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
