My story

Meet Lilah (aka Dawn): The Mystery Mix with Supermodel Legs Lilah was the name given by her family she spent six years with, and now at age 7, she’s back with DogRRR — through no fault of her own — hoping her next stop is her true forever home. She’s a chihuahua mix… probably. Maybe. Honestly, she’s a bit of a mystery — with long legs, a lean 17-pound figure, a purple tongue, and a dark striped tail. She’s got the looks and the personality — you really have to meet her to get the full effect. Lilah is delightfully low-maintenance. She’s a pro on leash, has impeccable recall, minds her manners, and enjoys the finer things in dog life: toys, chew bones, and polite play with the resident dog. She likes affection but also values her “me time” in her own cozy corner. Because she can be sensitive to handling, Lilah would thrive in a calmer home, ideally with older kids or laid-back adults who respect her space and let her come to them. She’s quirky, sweet, soulful, and ready to finally land where she belongs. Lilah is so deserving of a forever filled with patience, peace, and belly rubs (on her terms, of course).
