My story

** Note: Lepa can fly to Toronto and join her forever family on July 5, upon adoption. She is currently in Korea. Background: Lepa was rescued earlier this spring from a city pound in Milyang, Korea. Since her rescue, she's been staying at our boarding house, surrounded by other dogs, all patiently waiting for her forever family. Personality and Socialization: Lepa is a soft-hearted and calm girl with a sweet, easygoing personality. She has a nice balance of energy—enough to be playful and engaging, but never overwhelming. Lepa enjoys being close to people and happily soaks up affection and cuddles whenever she can. She gets along well with other dogs, particularly smaller ones with friendly, gentle temperaments. Her favorite playmates at the boarding house are younger, small dogs like herself. If another dog is bossy or too intense, Lepa simply chooses to walk away rather than react. Behaviour: Lepa handles car rides calmly and has been a breeze during vet visits and bath time. The veterinary staff often comment on how cooperative and easy she is to work with. She uses both indoor pee pads and goes potty outdoors. Although still getting used to walking on a leash, she’s making progress and will benefit from continued gentle guidance and positive reinforcement. She also enjoys playing with toys—whether it’s tossing them around by herself or sharing in some light-hearted play with a doggy friend. Health and Diet: Lepa is in great health. She’s been spayed, microchipped, and is current on all her vaccines. Her parasite screenings were negative, and she’s on regular monthly preventatives. She eats dry kibble and hasn’t shown any signs of allergies. Her most recent checkup confirmed that she’s healthy and ready to start the next chapter of her life. Ideal Home: Lepa is a loving and clever young pup who’s still discovering the world around her. She would do best in a home where she’s given time, patience, and gentle support to continue building confidence and trust. Because she’s still so young, we’re looking for a family with a flexible schedule—someone who can be home most of the day to help her settle in and provide the attention and care she needs during this critical stage. A work-from-home individual or a retired adopter would be a great fit. With love and consistency, Lepa will blossom into a loyal, affectionate, and happy companion. Apply to adopt her through link below: https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/lepa/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lepa, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
