This beautiful girl is incredibly sweet, but she’s also very timid and still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. With time, patience, and understanding, Canyon has the potential to blossom into a devoted and loving companion.Canyon gets along well with other dogs and may thrive best in a home with a confident canine friend to show her the ropes and help her feel safe. She takes comfort in the presence of other dogs and is slowly beginning to explore her surroundings with curiosity and care.Though she may not approach right away, once Canyon starts to feel secure, her sweet personality begins to shine through. She enjoys quiet companionship and gentle affection, and she’ll be happiest in a calm, nurturing home that can continue to support her journey.If you have a soft spot for shy pups and the patience to help a dog learn to trust, Canyon will reward you with quiet loyalty and a bond built on love and understanding.**Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
