My story

Lilo is a sweet, snuggly, and slightly shy girl with a playful spirit and a big heart. She’s a certified Velcro dog — happiest when she's by your side, following you from room to room with her signature gentle loyalty. Once you earn her trust, you’ll unlock her goofy side: expect zoomies when you get home from work and bouncing excitement when she wants to play. She even gives you the cutest “please play with me” eyes!Lilo is polite with other dogs and has done well with both cats and kids in past homes. While she may bark a bit when meeting new people or dogs from afar, she’s quick to warm up and incredibly friendly once she feels safe. She prefers a calm introduction and a little patience — and in return, you’ll get a best friend for life.She’s fully potty trained, sleeps through the night in her crate, and even free-roams responsibly when left alone. Lilo has no medical needs, but she is scheduled to be spayed on June 28th.While she’s not a fan of car rides and can be a little anxious in new situations, Lilo has adjusted beautifully in her foster home. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
