My story

Meet me at PawSafe, 348 Old Colony Rd, Eastford CT Malcom is ready to feel good in his own fur again 🐾 At around 3 years old, Malcom has already been through it. Rescued from a severe hoarding situation, he came to us painfully matted—his coat knotted all the way to the skin and covering his eyes so he could barely see. It was uncomfortable, limiting, and no way for a dog to live. Thanks to a kindhearted vet team at Stafford Vet Center, Malcom’s now sporting a fresh shave and a clean slate—but his best look is still ahead of him. Despite his rough start, Malcom has a quiet resilience. He’s cautiously curious and slowly learning that hands can be kind, homes can be calm, and love doesn’t have to be chaotic. A gentle, patient family will go a long way in helping him bloom. His full fluff will grow back in time—and when it does, he won’t just look amazing. He’ll feel amazing, too: safe, loved, and finally home. ✂️✨🐶
