My story

This striking 1yr 98 lb Anatolian Shepherd was surrendered to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 6/17. The reason he was surrendered is because the other smaller family dogs were picking on him! The surrender form said that he was an inside/outside dog and that he had lived with children and other dogs and got along fine with them. He’s a big boy but he looks even bigger because of having so much hair. He needs a good grooming so his hair could be thinned out. He didn`t mind being brushed and even gave kisses. He’s sweet, gentle, calm, well mannered, and affectionate. He’s very easy-going. He did have a semi-strong pull on a leash. He did not have a reaction to the dogs, but if you do have another dog please ask the shelter for a dog test. This gentle giant would love to find his own loving family that stay committed to him.
