Zuzu

My story

This precious youngster is Zuzu. He is a 31lb sweet and gently loving Terrier pitbull mix that may have some whippet in the mix too. He was surrendered on 6/17 to the Mesquite Animal Shelter. The backstory on sweet boy is that he was given by a friend to the owner as a one month old pup and kept for 6 months. The owner is elderly and disabled and has health issues that prevented her from giving this boy proper care. And oh those adorable ears!! Zuzu is very friendly, sociable, gave me kisses and wanted to climb into my lap. He loves treats and takes them gently. His tail wags a lot! He loves toys and is very playful. Though he is frisky and perky, he was a bit skittish initially. Zuzu did walk nicely on a leash. He deserves another chance at life with people who will give him the time and effort necessary in order to enjoy a happy and secure life with lots of TLC. He needs daily interaction and playtime, plus he would undoubtedly welcome some snuggling. And needless to say, he needs an inside life out of the harsh Texas heat as well as helping him to bond with his people. Can you tell I grew quite fond of him in the short time we spent together?
