My story

Hey!! What’s up Doc? (I was actually named with my brother, Wyatt...yep…Tombstone reference) I’m a 10 week old Black Mouth Cur mix looking for my forever home! I’m 10 pounds and growing rapidly so I’ll probably be a big guy. I’m a lover and enjoy cuddles, other dogs and every person I meet. I’m also a funny guy and love to climb on my crate…..yes, I’m tiny but mighty and I scale 36” crates in the blink of an eye! I’m not a picky eater and I love anything you would like to try with me….watermelon, bananas, strawberries, blueberries…the list goes on. I’m still learning my puppy manners which includes house training, leash walking and chewing what I should. I’m very smart though and treat motivated, so I’m easy to train. ***PLEASE NOTE*** This pup has not yet been altered and requires an extra $100 spay/neuter deposit. JCAPL will pay for the procedure at a partner clinic and once completed, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter. However, a non-local adopter is required to pay for the spay/neuter at their own veterinarian by a specific date. After proof of the procedure is provided, $50 of the adoption fee will be refunded with the deposit. *** Are you interested in adopting this dog or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be submitted online, or sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner’s White Oak Shopping Center.
