Forky

My story

Hi! I'm Forky!  I'm an energetic and sweet pup who loves chew toys, playing, and napping.  I've been working hard on my crate training, and I can sleep 8+ hours a night in it. I'm also working on my housebreaking, which is going really well! No accidents so far as I paw and sit at the door when I need to go outside, and my foster family keeps me on a regular potty schedule. I'm a super smart and quick learner - I've already started picking up on some obedience cues, like walking nicely on a leash, and sitting calmly to earn a treat! When I'm not working hard to learn new things, I love playing fetch (I'm even getting pretty good at bringing back my toys), chewing my favorite hedgehog toy (yep, I'm teething, so I love to chew!), going for walks (I did a 2 mile hiking trail near a river on the 4th of July), and running around in the backyard.  Once I'm tired out, I find a spot near my foster family to lay down for a nap.  I also follow my people around the house - I always like being near someone whenever I can.  I've met other dogs and gotten along well with them and kids too.  I have also loved getting to meet lots of new people!  I'm so excited to find my fur-ever family!  Please sign up to meet me!
