Meet Riley – Your New Mail Assistant & Professional Cuddler! Do you find yourself drowning in junk mail, bills, or suspiciously thick envelopes from the IRS? Fear not — Riley, our 2-year-old Domestic Short Hair, is ready to pounce into your life and assist! This friendly little lady has two missions in life: Cuddles. So many cuddles. If you sit down, she’s your shadow. If you lie down, she’s your heated blanket. If you blink slowly, she’ll blink back like a feline soulmate. Mail duty. Riley takes her job very seriously. She will be present for every envelope opening, every package unboxing, and every Amazon delivery. She may also lightly chew your coupons. It’s part of her process. She’s got a heart of gold, a nose for love (and cardboard), and the kind of soothing purr that could calm a stampede of squirrels. Ready for a snuggle buddy with an eye for paperwork and a talent for being adorable? Come meet Riley — she’s already penciled you in on her cuddle calendar. Adopt her before the junk mail piles up! This cat is available for adoption from Oceana County Animal Control. If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this cat's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact persons in the order they are on the list. The adoption fee is $35 and you receive certificates for $25 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies if not already done.
