My story

Hello, Addie was adopted about 10 years ago from the Jefferson Parish shelter in New Orleans by my elderly father, who is no longer able to care for her. She is very sweet and active for an older dog. She is not at all aggressive but really just kind and a little quirky. She has lived with my dad's cat and bird without any issues. I sadly cannot take her as I have moved and it's not possible to take her with me. ARNO (Animal Rescue New Orleans) has been helping us - finding her a foster home, (where she's being introduced to other dogs,- we already know she's ok with cats) and getting her medical checks up-to-date (all shots ok, no heartworms or fleas, and a couple of skin tumors removed). She's in their system, so adoption will go through them. Honestly, they're great and looking out for our furry friends.
