My story

Meet Patches – The Ultimate Comeback King (with Extra Toes!) Patches is a 6-year-old sweetheart with a story that’ll melt your heart—and some seriously impressive paws! This polydactyl gentleman has extra toes and a gentle soul to match. He’s mostly cream in color with soft tabby markings, giving him a uniquely handsome look that’s just as charming as his personality. Once an outdoor cat with no one to call his own, a kind soul noticed something was wrong and rushed him to the vet. He had a serious body wall hernia that needed immediate surgery. With limited options, Billy the Kidden Rescue stepped in to give Patches the second chance he so deserved—and he absolutely crushed his recovery! Now fully healed, neutered, vaccinated, and proudly rocking a scar that tells his story, Patches is ready for a forever home. He’s affectionate, gentle, and wonderfully laid-back. He gets along well with other cats and loves all humans, kids included. While dogs are an unknown, his mellow demeanor suggests he’d likely adapt with proper introductions. Patches isn’t big on toys—he’s more of a Netflix and chill kind of guy. He loves lounging in a tall cat tree to people-watch and will gladly spend hours enjoying Cat TV on YouTube. He’s also a foodie who lives for mealtime (currently dining on Purina One Adult Dry and Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers). And don’t be surprised if he strikes up a conversation—Patches is delightfully chatty and always happy to share his thoughts (especially if food is involved!). 📧 Interested in meeting me?
