My story

Ahoy! I'm Popeye! I am an approx. 8 month old male Lab/Collie mix that weighs around 41lbs. I was found overnight by the police department on 6/18/25 after being left in front of RAC off leash and my owners were never located. I am a fun loving boy who enjoys spending time running and playing as well as taking long naps. I walk well on a leash and appear to be crate trained but would benefit from some continued training. Although I was abandoned with a friend, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm negative. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
