My story

Meet Greta at The Rescue Crew's new cat adoption center - The PURRfect Match, located at 14033 Round Lake Blvd NW in Andover. Hi, I’m Greta — a petite tabby with a big personality and a soft spot for shoulder rides. I may be small, but don’t let that fool you — I’ve got just the right amount of sass and sparkle. I came to The Rescue Crew from a shelter in Maple Grove after being picked up as a stray, and while I might greet the world with a little feistiness at first, don’t be surprised if I’m suddenly curled up in your lap or climbing up for a snuggle on your shoulder when you least expect it. I’m a true people-cat at heart. I love being around humans and have quickly warmed up to the other cats at the adoption center after a few days of polite introductions. I’ve also met a couple of small dogs and, while I’m definitely curious, I like to take my time before making new friends — cautious curiosity is kind of my style. I’d do well in a home with other cats and respectful, cat-savvy dogs or older, considerate kiddos who understand that I like affection on my own terms. If you're looking for a cat with a little spice, a lot of heart, and a talent for surprise cuddles — I just might be your girl. Come meet me at The PURRFECT Match Cat Adoption Center — I’ll be the tabby keeping an eye on things from above, just waiting for my perfect person. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota.
