My story

Meet Doodle at The Rescue Crew's new cat adoption center - The PURRfect Match, located at 14033 Round Lake Blvd NW in Andover. Hi, I’m Doodle — a quirky little goofball with a heart full of love and a personality that’ll keep you smiling. I’m just over 2 years old and came to The Rescue Crew from a shelter north of the metro, where I waited and waited for someone to notice me. Thankfully, my friends here saw my potential and gave me a second chance to find the forever home I’ve been dreaming of. At first, I can be a little shy — but give me a few gentle head scratches, and you’ll see the real me come bouncing out. I’m playful, silly, and a bit of a court jester. I love batting around toys, climbing my cat tower like a goof, and putting on a little show just to make you laugh. I’m also quite the beauty — white with soft orange markings and big, curious eyes. Once I feel safe, I’ll be your fun-loving, loyal companion through and through. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota.
